Joe Bird, the official DJ for The Delegates Of Rhyme, and regular collaborator with Vice and Donnie Numeric, in addition to his own production for Rap-Torial, Them Deviants and more, has joined forces with Hyper to create “Dear Channel Four #undateables”.The track is aimed at Channel 4 particularly for creating “documentaries” that are painting people with disabilities in a negative light. After a week of the video causing debate, reaching local and national media aswell as social including Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.
This is a much needed video, created by some honest and talented musicians who deserve attention for their brave, honest and creative approach to a topic which is regularly swept under the carpet.
Please, if you have any form of opinion on this topic, comment, share or talk about this track.
During the influx of new supporters for “Stresses and Definitions” helping us to develop our support and help to further our opportunity of collaboration and making even more music we were lucky enough to spotted by the amazing online community called Urban Vault. UV is much more than a blog, with it’s own clothing line and UV Academy (their You Tube channel) they are giving artists, like ourselves, a platform to develop their music and create links in the indusrty.
Giles Sawyer, the creator of Urban Vault has been a massive support, blogging the release of Stresses, and also taking the time out to interview both Vice and Donnie Numeric.
You can check out the interviews on the link below:
Please take time out to check Urban Vault. There’s some great independent music on there from artists that deserve to be heard.
Once again, thank you to Giles and the UV family.
